Fees

  • St Mary Family Doctors is a mixed billing practice, meaning most patients will now pay a 'gap payment' for appointments.
  • Patients exempt from these fees:
  • Children under 16 years of age.
  • Current pension card holders.
  • Current DVA card holders.
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.
  • Private billing will apply to holders of the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card

  • Our priority is always our patients, if you are experiencing any financial hardship and have questions regarding fees - please speak to your Doctor or our reception staff.

  • What is a 'gap payment'?

    A 'gap payment' is an out-of-pocket cost that is the difference between the practice's private fees and your Medicare rebate.
